Mountain Dell got an inch of new snow overnight and that was just enough to reset the classic track on the Main, Mitten, Kids Cutoff, Boomerang, Wiggle room, and the Lollipop Top.
It is in very good shape except under some trees where the grass is showing, so be on the watch for those areas if you are classic skiing. Skate was groomed too and is in great shape. Enjoy!

Thanks, Jerry and Cary

It’s going to be a beautiful sunny ski day. All trails will be groomed with new classic set on the 4 inches of new snow yesterday. Enjoy it while it lasts. Spring is coming. Please purchase and display your trail pass. Fuel for the groomer isn’t cheap. Be aware of winter sidewalk conditions!! Be sure to thank the staff for everything they do. We work hard for your fun and fitness.

The sale continues we still have a some nice classic and skate demos left. forty percent off on clothing so it might be time to replace those old ski pants. If it’s busy, we recommend masking up indoors for everyone’s safety and health.

Warm temps yesterday created very firm conditions with the over night freeze. Skate lanes were worked over well, softened and should provide nice skiing today. A few thin spots, otherwise good coverage. Classic was not reset. Thin and frozen – use caution. Enjoy the day.

Happy Daylight Savings time! Spring forward skiing today. All trails groomed and open. A bit crunchy early because of the 50 degree temps yesterday, but warming a little before the snow starts mid-morning. Expect some fresh snow later in the day, so skating and classic should be quite nice. Yesterday was so busy, so please be patient with us. The Sale continues. Please park legally at the Nordic Center and on Meadows Drive at the Farm. The police were ticketing and towing at the Farm yesterday because skiers had blocked travel lanes. YOu can ski to the Farm from the Nordic Center or even park in the Farm Parking and walk through the tunnel. Either of those is better than a ticket.

Come out a ski! Please purchase and display your pass! Poaching is poor form. It’s busy inside the shop, we recommend masking up just to be safe.

Deer Hollow Grooming Report for Thurs, Mar 10th:
Since our last grooming a week ago, Deer Hollow got a couple of snow storms, dropping about 18 in. total of much needed snow. Snow was just ending this morning as we started to groom. Ideal conditions today (cold temps & cloudy), made for perfect corduroy and setting tracks.
All of the XC Trails were groomed with the big SnoCat Groomer, and tracks were set on most.
Snowshoe trails were groomed with the BearCat snowmobile and the YTS Roller.
Today’s contingent of CMNSC Grooming Volunteers were: Topher M., Steve R., & Jim R.

Extremely cold this morning as a lead in to a beautiful blue sky and sun day. Come and ski the winter conditions in March! Everything groomed and open and skiing will just get better as the day goes on. Our SALE begins today with clothing and selected items on sale. We’re open 9-5 and encourage you to wear a mask while indoors. Please ski safe, walk safe and bundle up. Winter sidewalk conditions are also back to keep an eye out for icy patches on pavement.

Please purchase and display your pass while skiing. Also, skiing on the Farm without paying is theft and bad karma. Buy a pass or put your $$ in the fee box. These trails don’t happen by magic. Also, please be nice to the WPT staff. There is no reason to verbally or physically assault people who are doing their jobs. Chill out folks. This is skiing not UFC.
