We have been waiting for approval from an official in Park City government to access the dog loop and the Farm since Friday this holiday weekend. The two trails will not be packed, groomed or open until we receive approval from that official. When we get the word, we’ll prepare a plan to get out and reopen and groom your trails. ~02/17/25 07:15 am
Another couple inches came in overnight and snowing this morning. We’ll take every flake. That gives us over 12 inches this past week. We’ll be grooming and setting classic on the full 5k loop, the 3k and Armstrong this morning. We are treating it gently due to snow depth in a few areas and to help protect the golf course turf. Classic skiing will be excellent today. Conditions will be very good and creamy on the 5k with excellent skiing. Definitely a foamy latte surface on the 3k and Armstrong. It looks like we’ll be rewarded with great skiing all week.
Temperatures will be floating around freezing all day which means that it will be blue/violet for kick and violet/red for glide. Skiing will be a bit sticky if your skis are not waxed or structured well. The surface will be changing through the day and we will see some more flakes. Please pay attention to where you are going out there. Be aware of icy patches in the parking lot and walkways. Walk with care in your ski boots. We are working together with Park City to make your community resource as wonderful as we can year-round. The store and service shop are OPEN all day. We can wax your skis and upgrade your gear as needed.
No walking, dogs, running, cycling, driving or trespassing on the trails. If you need to take a physical and/or mental therapy getaway or a social media break we’re here for you every day. It will be a great afternoon to drop off your skis for a soothing wax massage after your ski adventure. Tug on your good gloves, lace up and go play in the snow. Enjoy a steamy mug before you head out, spread Joy outdoors, glide through the terrain, be safe and be kind. Thank you for being part of our amazing ski community and reading another snow globe enhanced, wordy trail report. Go for a ski and then drop in the store to say hi. All remaining nordic poles, high performance waxes and kids clothes in the shop are on sale now! It looks like the snow bunnies are back! See you on the trails!

Fairview
No new snow last 24 hours but afternoon winds resulted yesterday is some drifting into the classic tracks and across the skate lane n places. So all trails re groomed this morning. Again, classic track in places may contact ground or at least low snow amounts since the base remains shallow. But overall, skiing should be great and in particular skating.

Good Morning!!
We are back open!!
We have received enough snow to reopen the lower trail for skate and classic. The connector trail on #18 and #17 is closed at this time until it receives more snow. The snow conditions are soft from warm overnight temperatures. The upper trail is still closed as we are packing and grooming it today. We hope to open the upper trail in the next hour. Be careful on the bridges as the snow coverage is thin in spots.
Feel free to reach out to the Nordic/Golf Shop with any questions. We will keep you all updated as soon as we have any information.
Have a great weekend!!

We are expecting a bit more snow later today! That will give us almost 12 inches this past week. We’ll be grooming the full 5k loop, the 3k and Armstrong this morning. We are treating it gently due to snow depth in a few areas and to help protect the golf course turf. Conditions will be a little soft on the 5k but excellent and skiing very well on the 3k and Armstrong. Skiing should be creamy and quite good today. It looks like we’ll be rewarded with great skiing all week. Temperatures will be below and around freezing all day mean that it will be blue/violet for kick and blue/violet for glide. Skiing will be a bit sticky if your skis are not waxed well. The surface will be firming and speeding up through the day before the storm arrives.
Please pay attention to where you are going out there. Be aware of icy patches under the snow and walk with care in your ski boots. Groomed the following for skate Saturday night: Main, Mitten, Park Bypass, Lollipop, Boomerang and Wiggle. Classic was only reset on Main due to the thin base. Things should firm up tonight, ski with caution due to thin conditions….enjoy!
Spruces
Lots of snow overnight. Everything has been sled packed.
SR-65
Love the Valentine’s box of white sweets! Finally enough snow. Classic set and skate groomed to the first switchback. Thin down low in the usual suspects area and soft, of course.
Fairview
Good morning, Fairview picked up a bit more snow last night. Plus it is colder today so the snow seems to be lighter and a great addition to yesterday’s base. All trails groomed this morning and the scene looks wintery and inviting. Skating should be excellent and there is a classic track now set as well. Classic track could not be set to full depth due to coverage not yet more than a few inches but we’ll take it! If you ski classic, monitor the tracks since they may penetrate close to the grass.

Good Morning!!
We are back open!!
We have received enough snow to reopen the lower trail for skate only. We weren’t able to set the classic track today as the wind keeps filling in what was groomed. The snow conditions are very soft from overnight snow and will continue to fall throughout the day. The upper trail is still closed for the rest of the day. The snow conditions were too soft and windblown to set the trail.
Feel free to reach out to the Nordic/Golf Shop with any questions. We will keep you all updated as soon as we have any information.
Have a great weekend!!
