Sanpete skiers, we have had several small snowfalls over the last month, including last night. There is not enough snow to begin machine grooming but there is enough to go out and make your own classic tracks. Best if you can find open areas with some old snow underneath the new.
Spruces
All of Spruces and Jordan Pines is groomed. Pretty nice conditions.

White Pine
Cold conditions this morning. Should be great skiing! 3k, 5k and Armstrong all groomed and open. Please be patient with the Farm, it’s only December 6th. There are numerous rocks and hazards just under the snow and if we pack it people will try to ski it and get hurt. We don’t want that and you don’t want that.
Crunch time for PARKING! The proposal is on the PC Council website for daily 10am to 6pm carpool parking along Thaynes Canyon with dedicated spaces for para-athletes. It is a good compromise and serves ALL of our communities of all ages and abilities. Please offer your support to the Council vote by either showing up Thursday at council chambers at 6:15 or contact the Mayor and Council with your support. Every single skier and human powered recreationist matters to us at White Pine Touring. Your support has been tremendous and we are so close to closing the chapter on the parking saga for the winter season. Please help.

Spruces
Sorry for the late report. I rolled Spruces this morning and groomed Jordan Pines. I added a couple new loops in the Jordan Pines area so let me know what you think. We also got the Creekside snowshoe trail packed down. FYI, we are having an issue with our new Ginzu sled, so we won’t be able to have the Ginzu groomer and classic setter running for a bit. Hoping to get it fixed as soon as I can. Otherwise, nice day and our coverage is looking pretty good. Have fun.
Soldier Hollow
3.5 kilometers of manmade snow. Conditions are a little icy and as the day warms it’ll continue be spectacular skiing!

Hi Folks – The snow gods laid down about 3.5 inches of creamy new snow early this morning. After sled packing, Main, Mitten, Lollipop and Kid’s Cutoff were set for skate and classic. Ski conditions are quite good but watch out for a few thin spots especially in classic tracks. Have fun out there!!
