Not a big storm Saturday, but cold morning and afternoon temperatures make for a sunny winter-like day today. The track is grooming up pretty well. Just a light resurfacing this morning and using yesterday’s classic track. Blue wax all day. Skating will be good. Classic is much better with the new snow. A sunny, cold, Joy-filled winter ski day! We have 10km of skiing open. Remember to ski with care, those thinning spots, icy spots and exposed areas are just below the surface.

Remember to ride the bus, micro transit, carpool or walk if you can. Parking is available all around the hotel and underground but everything you can do to reduce single driver trips helps! We’ve groomed the 3k, 5k and Armstrong. The dog loop is much better, almost completely skiable now. Give the gift of glide this holiday season. Be sure to thank our incredible groomers when you see them. Lou, Roch, Matias, Mark, Todd, Joaqiun and Julian have been working extremely hard to make your ski experience the best it can be. And they have been doing a great job. None of that classic track and morning corduroy happens by accident. And please if you see a stick, pinecone or willow branch on the trail, flick it off the trail. We want to preserve every flake until the next storm.

Extreme Spring continues. More spring skiing conditions today. Crust cruising will be fantastic this morning again. It froze overnight so it is a little exciting this morning. The track is grooming up pretty well with a crumbled surface for skating. Skating will be exciting early and quite fast. Classic by mid morning will be getting better A mostly-sunny Joy-filled ski day! The holiday season is here so come in and burn off a couple of those delicious cookies! We are open 9-5 daily with 10km of skiing. Watch for thinning spots. We are shoveling every day. Moderate, rising temperatures today means softer in the afternoon.
