Groomed for skate and classic to the first switchback. Four inches at the gate and ten and the switchback. It will be soft for skate, but the moist snow seemed to set up better than expected. The classic track looked very good. Caution down low: The 4″ were on top of asphalt or very thin snow/ice in places.
Fairview
Fairview has received quite a bit of new snow the last couple nights. Yesterday and today the track was groomed to compact the new snow and build base. Snow added underneath trees in a few spots where it had melted off. Current conditions are a packed trail for skating but no classic track set yet. Plan for Friday is to re-groom the skate lane and add a classic track. Cold nights in the forecast should help and provide good skiing the next several days.

Good Morning,
We received about 3 inches of snow yesterday and an additional 3 inches in the overnight! We were able to groom for skate and set the classic on the entire 4.5km lower track. We also groomed for skate and reset the classic on the upper track. Conditions are firm from the colder overnight temps but should soften up throughout the day.
Come enjoy some fresh trails,

Groomers are out right now finishing up grooming the manmade trails. A light layer of new snow is currently still falling on top, but it is expected to stay somewhat cool today. Conditions may still be soft because of the new snow. It is expected to clear up this afternoon and should be a lovey day for skiing!

We’re back, but it is like Day One all over again. Mark and Nils are grooming about 4-5 inches of light snow this morning. Like early season, hazards lurk not too far below. Your best skis not recommended, and skate will be iffy until things set up. Classic might be best today. Main, Mitten, Kids Cutoff, Park Road Bypass, Boomerang and Wiggle Room set for skate and classic. Lollipop top has corduroy but no classic, but be careful skating there! Good chance of pushing down to pavement, especially before afternoon today. Lollipop handle will stay closed.

Good Morning,
Here comes the weather! We received a bunch of rain last night and it knocked down a lot of our snow. The lower track is only open for 1.1km for classic and skate. The upper track is groomed for skate. There are some bare areas on the upper track that have been marked with cones so please be cautious while skiing. There are a few icy spots as well. Snow to continue throughout the day which will fill trails. Feel free to call the Nordic Center with any questions or updates on trail conditions.
Have a Great Day!
