Oh Joy! What is that white stuff falling from the sky? We’re not expecting a big storm today, but cooler temperatures and a fresh topcoat will make for a great winter-like day. Definitely a change from the last several days. The track is grooming up pretty well. Skating will be good. Classic will be getting much better with the new snow. A cloudy, cooler but Joy-filled ski day! The holiday season is here so come in and say hi. We are open 9-5 daily with 10km of skiing and will be happy to see you. Remember to ski with care, those thinning spots, icy spots and exposed areas are just below the surface. Red or purple wax conditions all day. Remember to ride the bus, micro transit, carpool or walk if you can. Parking is available all around the hotel and underground but everything you can do to reduce single driver trips helps! We’ve groomed the 3k, 5k and Armstrong. The dog loop is not as open-ish. Give the gift of glide this holiday season. Wax cards and all of the waxes from basic to super fast are in the shop. Go play in the snow, share the Joy! The shop is open so come pick up your pass and check out all the amazing new gear and clothing. Give the gift of a lesson!

We got a tiny bit of snow! We are skiing on 2 km of blown snow, which is actually pretty fast despite the wetness of the atmosphere. Come ski with us and then get those last few Christmas presents – we have the snowflake thermometer poster, logo long sleeve t-shirts, logo hats and so much more!

Good morning. 27°F at 0815. Presently snowing with about 1.5″ accumulated since 0600. Lake Flats and Redman Loops have the best classic and skate skiing. Check in with the Nordic Center for more information.

Refreshed the Upper and Lower Spruces loops. Snow is going through freeze thaw and isn’t the prettiest right now. Holding off on Jordan pines for a bit more snow. Hopefully coming tomorrow! Have fun.

Good Morning,

We are open! We groomed for skate on our 1.1k loop on the lower track Tuesday morning. Skate is still good, but classic lanes are closed at this time due to lack of snow coverage. Snow will be pretty firm this morning after colder temperatures overnight. The snow should soften as we get well above freezing this afternoon. Please stay on the groomed trails!

Day passes are only $5!!

Happy Holidays,

Come enjoy our 2 kilometer loop freshly groomed this morning! The snow is currently firm and will be fast. Our upper hollow and spin and grin trails are still ungroomed, but could be skiable with rock skis in case of thin areas. Cloudy weather this morning is expected to keep temperatures down just below freezing until 11am, so the snow should stay fairly firm until later in the day before softening up.

Extreme Spring continues. More spring skiing conditions today. Crust cruising will be fantastic this morning again. It froze overnight so it is a little exciting this morning. The track is grooming up pretty well with a crumbled surface for skating. Skating will be exciting early and quite fast. Classic by mid morning will be getting better A mostly-sunny Joy-filled ski day! The holiday season is here so come in and burn off a couple of those delicious cookies! We are open 9-5 daily with 10km of skiing. Watch for thinning spots. We are shoveling every day. Moderate, rising temperatures today means softer in the afternoon.

The Farm is definitely not open. Give the gift of glide this holiday season. Happy Solstice! We groomed from the restroom to the pass at sunset. More than trying to present a consumable ski trail tomorrow, the groom was primarily to work on leveling the track for the future; like our big 1-2″ of snow by Saturday night. If interested, walking to the restroom to begin skiing is recommended. It’s almost entirely melted about half way to the restroom. After the road cut and small climb, it’s better and mostly covered to the restroom. However, it’s very thin and skiing with extreme caution recommended. Actually, walking to the restroom is recommended. We did not re-set classic from the restroom to the top since we were trying to level the crummy skate lane. Classic is okay at best toward the restroom and often melted and blown out above the first switchback. The skate lane looked much better when we left well after dark. Watch for thin spots for a while above the second switchback It should re-freeze tonight and be nice in the morning before softening if you’re up for the walk to the restroom.
Do your snow dance, add 1-2′ on your Christmas wish list, or whatever you can think of to get us some white stuff!

Snow is hard with a crust of ice on top this morning. Come enjoy our manmade 2k loop, it will be fast this morning. Rain and warm temperatures yesterday likely took a toll on spin and grin and upper hollow natural snow trails.

Most trails groomed for skate and classic. Pleasantly surprised by 2″ of new snow, so the trails are really nice today!
No new grooming on Cornucopia, Evergreen, Bypass, or Camp Loop. Early season conditions exist: rocks, sticks, uneven terrain.
31° at 8:15, high of 39° today.
