We are open from 8:30am-4:30
Upcoming events: There is a Wasatch Citizen series race today.
Weather and conditions: Currently 24F and cloudy, there is a high of 41F expected later in the day with continuous cloud coverage.
Ski Trails Report: Thanks to last week’s storm all of our trails are now open. Most trails were groomed this morning, but all have been groomed in the last 24 hours. The trails will continue to soften throughout the day so come early for the best conditions.
White Pine
Partly cloudy and warming today with rain and snow expected this evening. Afternoon temperatures near 40F again. Cold overnight and the track is grooming up great for skate and classic. The magic time will be from about 9:00 until 2. Conditions might get sticky later in the day with the humidity and warm air. The 5km, 3km and Armstrong loops will be groomed and track set today. The Farm and dog loop will likely be groomed afterwards. Come share the Joy of skiing! Red wax is the call today with the higher humidity and slightly warmer temperatures. Snowshoes are also a good option today. We have rentals! We are open 9-5 daily. Please continue to be careful and ski within your abilities. Please ride the bus, micro transit, carpool, skateboard, cycle, e-bike or walk if you can. Parking is available all around the hotel and underground but everything you can do to reduce single driver trips helps! Go play in the new snow, make a snow angel or snowperson off the trail, share the Joy and enjoy what is shaping up to be another beautiful day!
Mountain Dell
The warmer temps brought back rather spring like conditions. All open loops were groomed for skate with a few sections of the classic reset as well. Skiing this morning should be good, there is a 40 percent chance of rain after 2 P.M. Lower loop remains closed. Be careful traversing icy parking areas.
SR-65
East Canyon Hwy/SR 65 groomed this evening for skate and classic to the first switchback (3.25 mi/5.2 k). Recommend skiing it in the morning, before the warm temps and chance of rain forecast for the afternoon.
Millcreek
We groomed today. Sled packed and rolled the ski trail. No Classic was set. We expect to get the snowcat back from its repairs on Monday. There is a path to go through the avalanche debris but the large mound of debris and snow will remain for the remaining season. Hopefully, we can build up on both sides of the debris field with snow to make it easier to glide through as more snow accumulates
Spruces
Lots of new snow at Spruces. Rolled upper and lower loops today. Enjoy.

Good Morning,
We groomed for skate and classic this morning and all 4.5km of trails are open on the Lower Trail!! The skate lanes groomed up really nicely and the snow conditions are good. Classic lanes are set and should ski great throughout the day. The Upper Trail is open for skate and classic lane has been set. The tracks should soften up throughout the day as it warms up. Going to be a warm stretch the next few days. Enjoy the skiing and hopefully some sunshine!!

Great News Skiers! Bandanas Cafe at the Hotel Park City across the hall from us is now open until 8pm daily for your after-ski beverages, pizza and pasta. Now you can ski until sundown and then have a relaxing place to snack while you’re waiting for regular traffic on the highway and Sundance traffic to thin out!

Mountain Dell
All trails except Lower groomed last night for skate and classic. Conditions should be Excellent, although maybe a bit soft on Creek which we just opened. Classic skiing should be especially good with all new track. Enjoy!!
Fairview
Fairview got several new inches of warm snow Tuesday night- Wednesday. Last night the snow froze nicely and dried out a bit. This morning the trails were sled packed (thank you, Chris!) then groomed for skate and classic. Great results out there! The track seemed to hold up well into the afternoon despite the warm temperatures. We need January temperatures to return!
SR-65
Groomed for skate and classic to the first switchback. 10″ of new, wet snow at the gate and 14″ at the switchback. The snow made grooming a challenge, with a record number of stucks: More than the usual number getting all the way to the pass. Get stuck, shovel, unhitch, pull with tow ropes, use winch, etc. Wash, rinse, repeat. It took nearly 7 hours, when going to the first switchback usually takes perhaps 3 hours. Then, walkers center punched the groom.
If you are a walker or biker that visits this Nordic skiing website for walking/biking consideration, we ask your consideration on preserving the groom for the skiers for whom our work is intended. Please stay to the far right side and off the groom. To be clear, SR-65 is a public road and all users are welcome to engage in all activities allowable by law. Walking three abreast is allowable by law. Center punching with a fat bike is allowable by law. However, doing so damages the groom. At a minimum, the damage reduces the quality of skiing. The foot prints and bike tracks can also be hazardous to skiers when they trip on prints and get caught up in bike tracks. Today, three walkers were three abreast across the fresh groom. We stopped to request their consideration and explained the issues. Two of them understood, thanked us for our explanation and moved to the side to resume walking. “Larry”, however, kept center punching the groom. His friends yelled at him to move to the side. Larry ignored them. Don’t be a Larry. Please stay on the far right side while ascending and return on that side. PLEASE.
Mountain Dell
Mark and David groomed Thursday morning, resetting all classic and skate on everything that is open: Main, Mitten, Kids, Lollipop, Boomerang and Wiggle Room. Creek has been machined but is roped off. It is very soft, and skiing it today will cause damage that we likely won’t be able to repair until it snows again. Please respect the rope closure today. Thanks!
Moose cow and calves are wandering the course now. Be aware, and give them loads of distance. Do not disturb the moose!
Jeremy Ranch
