Groomed for skate and classic to the first switchback. About 3″ at the gate and 5″ at the first switchback. Currently working on grooming to the top. Come ski!
Soldier Hollow
Ski Trail Conditions: We are blowing snow up the wazoo, so be prepared to enter an even wintery wonderland than you expected. Know that blown snow is slow and can catch you off guard. We have about 4 k of snowmaking ribbon that makes up in inner core trails. We groom just about all the natural snow trails last night! Please be alert for low snow hazards, especially on south-facing slopes.
Weather and Conditions: It is currently 22 and overcast this morning. there will be a high of 32 with a 40% chance of snow, with only a half an inch of accumulation possible.
Solitude Nordic
Good morning! 23°F at 0810. 8″ new overnight with a winter weather advisory in effect. All trails groomed except Cabin Loop. Nordic Nights tonight!
White Pine
A couple of inches of fresh snow on top of the trails this morning. A nice refresh for your skiing fun. Blue wax for grip and glide all day today. It will be a little breezy and cold this morning out on the trails so bundle up. A mid-winter day! We’re grooming the 3k, 5k and Armstrong with fresh classic and resurfaced skate lanes on everything. A soft creamy surface on top (whole milk foam on the latte scale) and a firm track below. The dog loop is open and running through the snow. The Farm is still awaiting some snow depth but we will continue some prep work there as the wind subsides. Thank you for your patience with this most interesting winter we’ve been having.
Classic skiing will be very good today and skate will also be good but a bit slow in the fresh snow. Skiing will be a good activity today no matter the technique. A good universal liquid or paste wax on your fish scale classic skis (tip to tail) is always helpful. Skin skis will be a very good no-fuss classic option today. The most satisfying skiing will be putting your phone in silent mode and bringing your family, friends and neighbors along for the fun. Drop off your skis when you’re done for a wax spa treatment. Please purchase AND display your trail pass to access our trails. Everyone please ski with unbridled Joy, be kind to yourselves, breathe deeply and share the beautiful winter trails! Thank you for being part of our incredible community! Please ski safe, bundle up this morning and enjoy the day!
Welcome to the unofficial Community Center of Park CIty. Mountain Dell
Good morning skiers. The Mountain Dell track was groomed Thursday night. A nice classic loop was set on Boomerang and Wednesday afternoon’s classic track was left on Main, Mitten and Lollipop. Skate Trails groomed were Main, Mitten, Park Bypass and Boomerang. You will find surprisingly good skate conditions, despite the paltry snowpack and some better than expected classic skiing. Allez!

Another squeaky cold blue wax morning. We’re grooming the 3k, 5k and Armstrong with fresh classic on the 3k and resurfaced skate lanes on everything. This morning on the donut scale its much more powdered sugar than glazed again. A powdery surface on top and a firm track below will last all day. It’s a beautiful wintery morning and should be mostly sunny and cold all day. The dog loop is open, but a little playful in places. The Farm is still awaiting some snow depth. The coverage is thin in the meadow, but we are getting very close!
Classic skiing will be good today and skate will also be good. Basically, skiing will be good no matter the technique. A good universal liquid or paste wax on your fish scale classic skis (tip to tail) will be helpful. Skin skis will be a very good classic option today. The most satisfying skiing will be coming to the trails with your family, friends and neighbors. Drop off your skis when you’re done for deeper wax spa treatment. Please purchase AND display your trail pass to access our trails. Everyone please ski with Joy, be kind to yourselves and share the trail! Grab a friend and bring them outside to play in the snow! Thank you for being part of our amazing community! Please ski safe and enjoy the day!
We have one space left in our Monday morning Women’s Skate Clinic series that started on January 6th. Give us a call at the Nordic Center to register!
Mountain Dell
Good morning,
Mountain Dell was groomed Wednesday night by Norm and Jeff. Trails groomed include Main, Lollipop, Mitten, Boomerang and Park Road Bypass. The Lower Loop and Creek remain closed.
The classic track was reset Wednesday afternoon on Mitten and portions of Main. Previous classic remains on Lollipop and portions of Main.
More work was also done on leveling out the track after the snow harvesting that was done on Monday.
It looks like a great day for some skiing. Enjoy!
SR-65
Groomed to the first switchback late this afternoon. Still good from there to where grooming ended (last switchback) yesterday. Skate skied to top and it’s on snowmobile tracks for about five minutes. We hope to get to the top in a couple of days. Skiing today was great and expect the same tomorrow.

Apologies, I gave misinformation in today’s report; The Wednesday Night Lights race will start at 5:30 pm tonight, not 4:30. Race pick will be at 4:30 pm.
