Short update, shallow classic track is going to be iffy. We still recommend classic skiing today. Skating may lead to shearing the fresh snow off of the hard base underneath. Ride a flat ski and be patient and understanding. It’s not going to snow for several days, don’t let your excitement overdo it and make it difficult for the rest of the week please. Any updates will be on our website today
White Pine
We are rolling and packing the 3km loop and practice area loop. If conditions allow we will set very shallow classic track. We received 3 inches of new snow on the base. Skiing will be good, but a bit slow and sticky if your skis are not waxed. THANK YOU to PC officials who have given us the go ahead to pack the trail today and prepare the surface for you. Definitely red wax today. The surface is very hard under the new snow so ski with care and please pay attention to where you are going. We are working together with Park City to make your community resource as wonderful as we can year-round. Be sure to thank the golf course staff for being such great partners in this adventure. The store and service shop are OPEN! We can’t control the weather, but we can wax your skis and upgrade your gear. No other trails are groomed or open this morning. We will update the report as needed. No walking, dogs, running, cycling, driving or trespassing on the trails. If you need to take a physical and/or mental therapy break we’re here for you every day. It is a great day to drop off your skis for a refreshing hot wax spa day. Get some Joy where you can, plug in to recharge, save the trails, be safe and be kind. Thank you for being part of our amazing family and reading our first wintery trail report since last Saturday. Grab your gloves, your sunscreen, your beanie, go for a short ski and then come shop in the store! All nordic poles, high performance waxes and kids clothes in the shop are on sale now!

Not yet! However, we are hopeful for the storm at the end of next week. Because of the high temperatures recently, we are starting from scratch. We need at least five inches of snow to groom our trails, today we got about two. As soon as we have enough, rest assured we will be doing our best to get Mt. Dell back up and running. Until then, thanks for all your patience and your support of TUNA!

Jeremy Ranch
Good Morning!!
All trails are temporarily closed!!
The spring like temps and south winds have remained at Jeremy Ranch. Unfortunately, we are going to have to suspend our Nordic operations for the time being. Trail conditions are deteriorating quickly and it is not safe to ski on any of our trails at this time. Water pooling, ice and grass coming through on various parts of the trails are our concerns. There is some snow in the forecast for today and into tomorrow morning. We will reassess the conditions at that time to see if trails can be reopened.
Thank you for your understanding and continue with those snow dances!! Feel free to reach out to the Nordic/Golf Shop with any questions. We will keep you all updated as soon as we have any information.
Have a great day!!

Late April weather. It’s breezy with a chance of showers. We touched up the 3km and Armstrong yesterday and the skiing turned out quite nice for the conditions. A hint of wet snow on the surface this morning is a nice touch. Please classic ski for another day or so to keep the track from being rutted with deep skate cuts. Holding out for cooler weather and some snow for the weekend. No other trails are groomed today as it is too soft to put equipment on the snow. All trail surfaces are mixed snow, slush and areas with water. There are a few icy patches in low areas from the melting surface. There are areas that are getting thin so ski with care and awareness. We will groom as soon as we see some colder temperatures. The 3km and Armstrong are open for skiing today with good depth and the conditions described above. We have closed the Farm and recommend caution on the 5km.
Classic skiing will require well waxed skin skis or fish scales. Skate double pole is an option early if you’re well waxed and have some wet structure on your skis. You’ll glide best on yellow wax. Grip wax will be nearly impossible today, classic skin skis will grip and glide best. The dog loop is melting out. The Farm is CLOSED and is a fee area for skiing. No walking, dogs, running, cycling, driving or trespassing on the trails. A good universal liquid or paste wax on your fish scale classic skis (tip to tail) is always a great way to keep them from sticking as the snow changes during the day. If you need to take a physical and/or mental therapy break we’re here for you every day. Drop off your skis for a refreshing hot wax spa day. Please purchase AND display your trail pass to access our trails. Ski with care, share the trails, ski safe and be kind. Thank you for being part of our amazing family and reading previews of our April trail reports after 6 days of 24 hour thaw. Grab your gear, your light jacket, snug up your laces and come shop in the store! All nordic poles and kids clothes in the shop are on sale. Get in while they last!
Today is a day for classic spring skiing with the continuing warm temperatures and mixed icy and soft surfaces. We do not recommend skating, any deep ruts will hasten snow melt and may freeze overnight into an unskiable surface. We are in snow maintenance mode for a few days to preserve our base until it cools down again. Ski smart and save the trails!
Solitude Nordic
If you wanna ski, this is the place to be.
All trails groomed for skate and classic and skiing great this morning. 32° at 8am, high of 37° and windy.
