Fresh snow, fresh groom, all 22km of trails open and coming up beautifully. Soft conditions, great classic skiing all day.
The Wasatch Citizens Series Race #1 has finally been permitted by Park CIty. Join us on 12/31 on the 5k for an individual start classic event in its 44th year. 10am start for kids, ~10:20 for adults. Make riding free Park City transit part of your family race experience. Park and ride access will drop you off at the corner from any direction. PLEASE ride the bus, carpool, drop off, ski in from the Farm. Do whatever it takes to keep the race going. Parking will be available at the Hotel Park CIty above and underground.
Park CIty will be ticketing and towing any illegally parked vehicles on residential streets so plan ahead and be smart like the nordic skier you are.
If you have any interactions with the neighbors, please record if possible and come in to fill out a report. Ask us if you’re curious.

Groomed and set track this morning. It rained all the way up to Big Water yesterday and with new snow today it is very soft.

We have some new snow, about 3 inches overnight! We have groomed for skate and reset the classic on the upper and lower tracks. The track conditions will be great all day!

18″ of new snow! All trails groomed. Snow will be soft for skating, but classic tracks will set up nicely. 20° at 9am, high of 28° with a little more snow throughout the morning.
Mountain Dell
Tuesday brought continuous heavy rain at Mountain Dell. As of 6 A.M. Wednesday we have two inches of fresh wet snow and an additional two inches are expected today. We will not be grooming Wednesday in an attempt to let the moisture settle. Please consider skiing elsewhere (higher!) on Wednesday. If you do ski Mountain Dell, classic will be the best choice, both for your fun and for the track. Thank you.

Rainy spring morning in Park CIty. 40 degrees and a wee bit soggy out. Layer up for the weather. Skiing will be good, but a little sloppy. The farm is soft and soggy with a bit of mud near the church. Just be ready for adventure. Stay tuned for race news. As of 9 am today, still no permit from Park City. we’ll see how it goes.

A balmy 46°/8°C (!?) at 0800 with light flurries. Trails groomed for skate and classic skiing.
SR-65
East Canyon Hwy groomed this afternoon. Attempted to reset classic but it wasn’t taking well—not an improvement over the user-maintained track. Timing will be everything tomorrow (Tues) in finding the sweet spot between frozen and soggy. Happy Boxing Day!

Happy Boxing Day! We hope everyone had a Merry Christmas! Both the upper and lower tracks have been groomed for skate and classic. The snow conditions are a little icy this morning but should soften up through the afternoon. The temperature will get warm this afternoon reaching up to 39 degrees.
Come in to the Nordic Center and get set up with a Nordic Season Pass. We also have equipment available from Atomic and apparel from Odlo!

Spring conditions today. All 20+km open and groomed. A bit spicy early with the overnight crust. Classic should be fantastic in the morning, skating later morning and on when it softens a little. Temperature expected to be near 40 degrees F today. Spring structure? Ski safe, park legally, carpool and come and ski!
