Good Morning,

The upper and lower tracks have been groomed for classic and skate. The snow conditions are very soft from the 10 inches of new powder we received last night! It’s a great day to come classic ski. The tracks should firm up this afternoon and through the night which will make them even better tomorrow.

Happy Sunday,
Jeremy Ranch Nordic Center

White Pine

Another 14-15 inches overnight. This snow globe thing is getting a little interesting. Trails are being groomed, track set and will be open. Grooming will take a while today with the very soft conditions. 3k, 5k and Armstrong first, Farm later after the storm and drifting subsides and we regroom the 3k and 5k. Be aware of very soft conditions, Possibly a bit more snow later. Still snowing and blowing at 7:30am.

Park City crews have completely plowed in our Thaynes parking and paraskier parking with deep piles. Not likely the off-street parking will open today given the depth and soft conditions. If you need paraskier parking access, give us a call and we’ll make arrangements for you to park for direct on-snow access.

Ski safe, drive safe and enjoy the winter wonderland! Blue might be the order for wax. There is a lot of moisture and depth in the snow. Classic will be fantastic, skate will be a workout. Check the UDOT cameras before you head out. Road conditions are highly adventurous and people are driving with reckless abandon.

The upper and lower tracks have been groomed for classic and skate. The classic lane has been reset on all 7km of trails. The snow conditions are firm and will soften up throughout the afternoon. The area is forecasted for some fresh powder overnight so the tracks should be pretty soft tomorrow morning.

Cleaned up skate lane. Classic is in good condition. Both to the first switchback.
We had hoped to finish track setting to Big Mountain. We had 3 moose encounters during that effort. Snow is deep and we did not want to stress the animals.

Congratulations to Doug and Jeff Beck (father and son). They completed a ski marathon (classic style) on SR65 today. The marathon was in memory of the Becks Wife and Mother.
They had pledges for their effort and all proceeds go to Sarcoma cancer research. Great job!
