Good Morning!!
All trails are still closed!!
We did receive some new snow this past weekend and last night. Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to get our trails back open again. We’re hoping this storm coming Presidents’ Day Weekend will get us back on track for a reopen potentially next weekend.
Thank you for your understanding and continue with those snow dances!! Feel free to reach out to the Nordic/Golf Shop with any questions. We will keep you all updated as soon as we have any information.
Have a great Wednesday!!

Very cold overnight and this morning on the trails! It is a beautiful sunny bluebird day but will not be a warm day. We did not regroom the 3km loop, Armstrong and the practice area last night. The trails are in very good shape and there was no new snow to speak of overnight. The skate track and the classic track from yesterday will be improving over the day. None of the other trails are open or suitable for skiing right now.
Patience for more snow will be rewarded as early as tomorrow afternoon. Very cold temperatures all day mean that it will be a green or polar wax for kick and definitely a green or blue wax for glide. Skiing will be good, but a bit slow and sticky if your skis are not waxed well. The surface will be firm through the day with the cold temperatures. It is very hard under the new snow so ski with care and please pay attention to where you are going. Be aware of icy patches under the snow and walk with care in your ski boots.
We are working together with Park City to make your community resource as wonderful as we can year-round. The store and service shop are OPEN! We can’t control the snowfall, but we can wax your skis and upgrade your gear. We will update the report as needed. No walking, dogs, running, cycling, driving or trespassing on the trails. If you need to take a physical and/or mental therapy break we’re here for you every day. It is a great day to drop off your skis for a relaxing spa treatment.
Bundle up with your best mittens, keep a careful eye on any exposed skin today. Keep those noses and ears warm. Enjoy the steamy cup before you head out, get some Joy outdoors, preserve the trails, be safe and be kind. Thank you for being part of our amazing ski community and reading another lengthy, and somewhat informative trail report. Grab your warm gloves, your beanie, go for a ski and then drop in the store to say hi. All nordic poles, high performance waxes and kids clothes in the shop are on sale now! We’re holding on for the return of the snow bunnies tomorrow. Snow dances of all styles are welcome and appreciated.
We have another Toko wax clinic Friday at 3:30. $10 fee with a drawing for a pair of poles for attendees and discounts on wax and waxing accessories after the clinic.

We shall be doing a skate mass start on a 2.5 km loop, of which you can do 1 or 2 laps. Our snow whales are immense! Thank you mother nature for the cold nights – come ski fabulous snow today!

Apologies, the Wednesday Night Lights format will be SKATE MASS START not classic sprint, and there will be the choice of doing either one or two 2.5 km laps. Again, start is 5 pm sharp! We are moving around a lot of our blown snow this morning so should have great skiing!
Solitude Nordic
Good morning! At 0755 it is 12°F/-11°C with light flurries. All trails groomed. Wicked good skiing! 20% off trail passes forTUNA members. Parking free after 100pm.

Another cold wintery feeling morning on the trails! We again received approval to lightly regroom the 3km loop, Armstrong and the practice area last night. We smoothed out the skate track and we did not reset the good classic track from yesterday. None of the other trails are open or suitable for skiing right now. Sometimes the weather and the desire don’t match exactly. Patience for more snow will be rewarded. After work and early morning skiers are increasing in numbers and making grooming a challenge at times. A light touch is more than enough to create a great experience for everyone.
Cold and squeaky this morning, definitely a blue wax day again. Skiing will be quite good, but a bit slow and sticky if your skis are not waxed. The surface will be firm through the day with the cold temperatures and chance of snow.
It is a great day to drop off your skis for a relaxing spa day. Find Joy outdoors, ski safe, preserve the trails, be safe and be kind. Thank you for being part of our amazing community and reading another lengthy, yet informative trail report.
If you tried to go skiing at Round Valley in the last few days, bring in your skis for repairs and a grind. Grab your warm gloves, your beanie, go for a ski and then come shop in the store. All nordic poles, high performance waxes and kids clothes in the shop are on sale now. We’re holding on for the return of the snow bunnies. Think snow and if that doesn’t work, be sure to wash your car to bring on the storms!

We received approval to lightly groom the 3km loop, Armstrong and the practice area last night. We were able to set shallow classic track last night as well. A light touch and a few inches are more than enough to create a great experience for everyone. Very cold and squeaky this morning, definitely a bluebird and blue wax day again! Skiing will be quite good, but a bit slow and sticky if your skis are not waxed. THANK YOU to PC officials who have given us the go ahead to groom the trail again today and prepare the surface for you. The surface will be firm early and softening through the day. We’ll possibly be moving towards red wax in the afternoon.

We are working together with Park City to make your community resource as wonderful as we can year-round. The store and service shop are OPEN! We can’t control the weather, but we can wax your skis and upgrade your gear. No other trails are groomed or open this morning, there simply wasn’t enough snow to restore everything. We will update the report as needed.
No walking, dogs, running, cycling, driving or trespassing on the trails. If you need to take a physical and/or mental therapy break we’re here for you every day. It is a great day to drop off your skis for a refreshing hot wax spa day. Find Joy out on the tracks, ski safe, preserve the trails, be safe and be kind. Thank you for being part of our amazing community and reading another lengthy trail report. All nordic poles, high performance waxes and kids clothes in the shop are on sale now!
We’ve lost track if this month has started coming in as a lamb or a lion, possibly just the return of the snow bunnies? Think snow!

Good morning! At 0745 it is 10°F/-12° C. All trails groomed this morning. Excellent cold snow conditions. TUNA gets 20% off trail passes. Free parking after 1:00pm.

Crew sled-packed the ski trail from previous 2 storms today. Due to morning plowing and snow removal needs, crew was unable to set skate and classic because of time constraints and ski trail traffic becoming increasingly busy.
We will groom first thing tomorrow morning (Monday). Come on out and enjoy!

The recent rain and warm temperatures have melted many of our natural trails. However, our core man-made trails are still in great conditions. As of this morning our little buckaroo and cabin hill trails were freshly groomed, and the rest of the man-made loop has been groomed within the last day or two. We are currently making more snow this morning around our sports discovery building. All of the natural snow trails, except the shady side of the upper Hollow, are melted, so please only ski on the snowmaking ribbon and ski with caution off the grooming.
