A snowy start to our day in Park CIty! Happy Valentine’s Day! We hope you can fill your hearts with love and share the Joy skiing or snowshoeing today. Give a gift of healthy activity to yourself and someone you love. Snowing heavily at 7am, but it is expected to stop and clear up by mid-morning. Wet snow on a firm cold surface should make for really nice smooth skiing today! Come out and play! Great snow, warming temperatures and maybe some sunshine later! All trails are open and we are grooming on all 20km again today. Conditions will be fresh snow early and the surface will stay very nice all day. Trails will be firm under the new snow but not icy. We’ll have excellent classic conditions all day. Skating will be very good and get faster during the day. Red wax for kick and glide today with the fresh snow and moderate temperatures.

Drive safely, walk with care in your ski boots and ski with Joy! Please purchase your pass and wear it. Please continue to be aware, be careful and ski within your abilities. Ride the bus, micro transit, carpool, skateboard, cycle, e-bike or walk if you can. Parking is available all around the hotel and underground but everything you can do to reduce single driver trips helps! If your skis are slow or sticking, it’s definitely time to wax. White Pine Touring Nordic Center is a Flouro Free zone. No HF, LF or PFC waxes are allowed by county ordinance and common sense. If you have old Flouro waxes bring them in to the recycling bin in the shop and we’ll give you 25% off Flouro Free high performance replacement sprays and hard waxes. If you are visiting this week from out of town, please note that the ski trails are for skiing only. The gentleman from California who thought the trails were a road for driving his rental SUV on was cited for trespass, removed from the trail and paid for the damage. We have photos. Don’t be that person. It’s always something new at the Nordic Center!
