Good Morning,

Here comes the weather! We received a bunch of rain last night and it knocked down a lot of our snow. The lower track is only open for 1.1km for classic and skate. The upper track is groomed for skate. There are some bare areas on the upper track that have been marked with cones so please be cautious while skiing. There are a few icy spots as well. Snow to continue throughout the day which will fill trails. Feel free to call the Nordic Center with any questions or updates on trail conditions.

Have a Great Day!

Heavy snow falling at 8 am. The fresh groom is getting covered so come out and help ski it in. We’ll be keeping on top of the 3km early then back to the 5k as the storm lets up. We are just on the right side of freezing again so we’re getting snow instead of scattered sleet. More snow on the trails. All 22km are open, it will be soft and slow again this morning with the fresh and wet snow. It snowed most of the day yesterday without much new depth. We’ll be doing a roller pack and grooming for skate and classic today. Classic will be good today and skate should be firmer through the day than it was yesterday as the storm passes. Conditions maybe slow and soft through most of the day with the fresh snow coming and going. Watch for a couple of icy areas on trails and walkways from all the moisture that has been around this week. Stay flexible, aware and ski with Joy! The 5km, 3km and Armstrong loops will be groomed first today. The Farm and Dog Loop will probably not be groomed and classic track set until tomorrow with the snowcat. If you go out to the Farm, ski with care and enjoy the arrival of winter conditions. Please purchase your pass and wear it. Watch for elk on the Farm. Red/purple wax and structure today. Please continue to be aware, careful and ski within your abilities. Ride the bus, micro transit, carpool, skateboard, cycle, e-bike or walk if you can. Parking is available all around the hotel and underground but everything you can do to reduce single driver trips helps! Come play in the snow, share the adventure, say Hello to the bunnies and ducks and enjoy what should be a very nice but a bit blustery ski day!

The Wasatch Citizens Series Race will be at the Farm trail on Saturday February 10th. The race has been relocated from Mountain Dell due to snow conditions. All manmade surfaces are groomed for today. The snow is taking a light set but the trails have not taken a deep freeze yet. Light snow is expected to persist throughout the day but the corduroy is still visible. Come ski it while it’s fresh!

Good Morning,

We received about 5 inches of fresh snow overnight! We were able to groom for skate and set the classic on the entire 4.5km lower track. We also groomed for skate and reset the classic on the upper track. The snow conditions are soft and the temperature should be pretty mild all day. There is some more snow coming that will hopefully help with the overall coverage of all the trails.

Come enjoy some fresh trails,

Returned to a few inches of new snow on the track after what looks like some warm weather with rain. Track was groomed this morning for both skate and classic though there are some thin and bare spots in a couple places especially for classic. Otherwise good conditions.

Main loop groomed skate only Sunday evening. All other loops do not currently have sufficient coverage for regrooming. Classic track also not reset due to the thin conditions. Overall in decent condition although the base ice layer is exposed in some sections – ski with caution.
